UK curriculum teaching English through Storytelling and Acting

Mothertongue professional actors/teacher workshop leaders

Suitable for children with English as a second language

Suitable for children aged 5-14 years old

Improves fluency, pronunciation, public speaking in English

Builds vocabulary and grammar and supports reading, listening, comprehension and creative writing

Increases confidence and self-expression

Daily workbooks and materials provided

Daily themes + language learning objectives

Weekly end of week performances at the venue for parents

Monday 24th June - Friday 4rd September 2026

Programme for 5-7 year olds AND 8-11 year olds:

9:30 am Warm up group drama games

9:45 am Specific themed drama games

Introducing the story, story mapping, active storytelling

11 am BREAK and snacks

11:30 am Workbooks: text comprehension, phonics, vocabulary, grammar, creative writing

Followed by acting out the story: public speaking, pronunciation

1 pm Lunch

2pm Afternoon Excursions and Workshops

4.30pm Friday: Show for Parents

5pm Pick-up

Jazzitup Kids is a UK company, providing holiday programmes for children from 5-11 with English as a second or alternative language. We offer themed days with fun English language learning workshops through our method of Active Storytelling - the stories and adventures of Jazzy the Juggler.

We teach kids within a no-pressure context where they are able to enjoy learning, sharing and expressing themselves according to their abilities. The aim of our holiday camps is to teach English with an emphasis on public speaking and new vocabulary and grammar acquisition, learning and practising the target language objectives, performing in English and having fun!

The English camp was amazing, the girls still talk about it. We have tried 2 different camps before and none of the girls liked them. I feel that this year the have learn quiet a lot this year because they were happy. I can see the difference. We will definitely come back next year.
